The Mansion House, Baguio City

On the second day, we went to the one of the most visited houses in Baguio....

Correct, the MANSION HOUSE. 

The only thing that I'm pretty sure about the Mansion is, this is the official summer residence of the President of the Philippines and I used to see alot of pictures of it whenever I have projects in school and requires a POSTCARD. Hehehe..

The Mansion House is located at the eastern part of Baguio City along Leonard Wood Road and right across from Wright Park. 

I was thinking that this place is so private and no one is allowed for a "JUMP shot"!

The Mansion once served as the seat of the Second Session of Economic Commission of Asia and the Far East in 1947. It has also been the site of first meeting of the South East Asia Union which was popularly known as the Baguio Conference of 1950,  conceived and convened by Philippine President Elpidio Quirino.

The Mansion is also used for an official gatherings and for various Philippine presidents activities like official visits and engagements. This is used to be the favorite site for sightseeing and picture taking.

Ang ganda nang pagkakadesign ng gate diba. Perfect for elite and VIP persons.

The said gate is said to be the replica of the Buckingham Palace in London, England.

Oh, siguro naman alam mo na ang history nitong the Mansion House di ba.

Inside the Mansion is a mini museum housing memorabilia and works of art collected over its years of occupancy by the former presidents. Within the compound and adjacent to the Mansion is a two-story building which serves as the official residence of the Philippine President in Baguio City. A contingent of Philippine marines maintains the security of this large compound and you will see a some of them manning the guardhouse at the vicinity of the entry gate.

I am not sure if they tend to allow guest up to the museum. What I only witnessed that time was, tourists are just until a little after to the gate area. The Mansion has a very limited surroundings so you can able to satisfy yourself by means of a picture taking. A cliche things to do in the Mansion.

You've got a better view

Surely, no foods are allowed inside and this is belongs to mitchlist. (redundant)! Arg!

Ronnel has to finish with his manggang hilaw with bagoong before he could get in.

Our group stayed here in less than 30mins. Then we went across the street to reach the Wright Park......See you then.
