Life is the sum of experiences that we encounter as go through life. Day to day to struggles and triumphs are experienced by all of the world's creatures. As human beings, when we encounter a challenge, we have freedom to choose how to react. Every decision that we make leads us down another road. We will never come to exactly the same crossroads. Every decision the we make has significance. The tiniest choice that is made reverberates throughout the entire universe.

A walk to remember - a RANDOM THOUGHTS over Photowalking

One gloomy day, I decided to have a Photo Walk-about in QC. Today, I wanted to be such a crazy -laid back lady. {it's an emo time}.

My own definition of Photowalk: {Photowalking simply means {walking}, {wandering} with a camera with you, getting the {right angle} and capturing anything that {interests} you. - {wink}! Sige, let us see if I can do such while torturing myself thinking things out!

{Photowalking} is different from the usual thing I used to. I used to do a casual photo taking of myself, my family and friends. But at some point I realized one thing, what is good in Photowalking? What I could possibly get in these pictures? Do I earn a thousands? or it's merely because for fun?

I wallowed the things about my life's purpose. Aside from serving the Creator above (which is I KNOW my main purpose to live on Earth), I know I have other deeper things to {accomplish while I'm still living}.

I believed the power of mind of people are limitless. It is for a free spirit person. You can do whatever pleases you but in a better retrospect view.
and for that, I know I am a free individual.  I can do anything that I wanted. I can say good things to all good persons I know and sometimes I tend to be sarcastic to a quite not fair person.

I am not saying that I am good to criticize, that I can read minds... No. I am also not good in judgement but only for those who are deserving.

Beyond 26 years of my existence, I've learned what I really wanted and one of those is to become a blogger. Of course, I would like to be a good daughter, a genuine friend, a good citizen of this country, a med-rep and etc. but God knows, how much it means to me to share of what I think, of what I passionately like about thru blog to my audience. (if any).

Maybe I'm just a neophyte to blogsphere, but I know even I took a little part of your busy life from reading my posts, it gets to me right in my heart, how lucky we are to communicate with each other and to a totally strangers...

You can draw a smile on our faces whenever {you} leave a {positive} comments.

Photowalking is not just for fun for all the pictures enthusiast but an extraordinary outlet. It is a hobby, a life's love and a culture in today's era. Photowalking/blogging makes us a writer, it makes us a poet and a person of who we are now.

Being a blogger does not stops when you're earning na. We all have a responsible to our audience!

I wanted to celebrate life in every single shared post. I wanted to drink for every inch of good comments...

And most of all, I love photowalking because I can wear anything I like, {smirk} I can wear my smile for every perfect shots and I can be with someone (cameraman) who truly inspires me in my every pose and in every step of my {Photowalking}!

And if you do have a camera, (doesn’t matter what kind) pick it up. Bring it along with you. Or just go out for a photowalk like we did. You’ll be surprise at what you’ll get at the end of the day and how much fun it was. There’s a second part to our photowalk...till then :)

50's Diners - Famous Resto in Baguio

After an awesome Strawberry picking experience in La Trinidad, we decided to go back in the city and have early lunch in 50's diner. Since we didn't got a chance to dine here on our first day dahil sa blockbuster ang mga taong gustong kumain dito especially during lunch and dinner, inagahan na namin ang pagpunta dito para hindi na maunahan, around 11a.m we're already at the doorstep of this very phenomenal restaurant.. Waiting list nga lang but at least, hindi masyado ganun kakapal ang tao, aga pa eh for lunch. hehe

This restaurant is recommended by Ate Diane but I'm not sure if she's been here before. hehe. While waiting for our turn to sit and dine, we noticed this red small car. There were diners who didn't mind to strike a pose and picture themselves with this car. Feel ko lang ha, this is the owner's car?! Nakita ko rin to kasi sa ibang blogs eh.

Highly maintained car, kintab eh!

There were tables and chair outside where diners can stay while waiting

It was a real pleasure to experience dining at 50's Diner.  It is obvious that their clients keep coming back because of the ambiance and the HUGE servings they offer here and aside from that, I noticed that the servers here are wearing a pink uniform, it is more likely a classic uniform in old time era. The music composed of old songs too. You feel that you're in a Hollywood restaurant setting...

POWER!

The picture tells it all :)

50’s Diner still retains its ambiance for having a 50s look with jukebox, famous posters of celebrities and its 50s music all day/ night long.

Waiting and choosing the meal

Mama's Kidd @ P95.00

Meatballs BBQ P95.00

Guys on the Hood Cost P130.00

Treat yourself with some luscious sweet treats!

The only problem when the resto gets full is the lack of enough parking space but it remarkably provides fairly fast and friendly service.

So much pleasant reviews about this old time fave resto in Baguio. I considered myself lucky to acquired such dining experience. Big servings, yummy food, very affordable prices and the neon pink color ambiance is nice too. No one should miss this fine resto located in 92 Upper General Luna Road, Corner Brent Road, Baguio City. A few minutes from SM Baguio and Session Road. Staying in Baguio makes worthwhile when you're having fun and you treat yourself with such fine and hearty meal!!

Strawberry (picking Baguio - Style) Farm in La Trinidad, Benguet

As early as 5am gising na ko.  Super lamig talaga sa Baguio kahit summer. Kaya gaya nung first morning, sinamantala ko ang special day na ito.
While they're preparing breakfast, ako naman naghahanda na para mag jogging! I must prepare myself for something...

We started commuting around past 9 in the morning. Bitbit ang kanya -kanyang bag at tsinelas dahil alam namin maputik sa pupuntahan namin because of the rain the other night. Today, we will invade La Trinidad for our Baguio- style picking of STRAWBERRIES.

Red strawberries, isn't it so lovely!
We hopped - in together at FX. Less than an hour asa Strawberry Farm na kami. Ang daming tao!!! Nakaka excite pala dito, you can feel the heat of the sun right on your face but still, you can enjoy your vacation kasi nga malamig. (eh hindi ba pag ganon, mas nakakaitim daw?!)

Medyo malayo ang location pero maganda naman. It's about 3km. from the city. The municipality has a land area of 8273.80 hectares, representing 3.16% of the provincial land area. The terrain is generally mountainous with springs, rivers and creeks. La Trinidad's valley floor elevation is at 1300 meters above sea level. Elevation ranges from 500 to 1700 meters above sea level.

Hindi sayang ang pagpunta mo dito dahil mae- enjoy mo ang dami ng tourists who also want to have their fresh picks and at the same time, you will enjoy the experience itself!

It is a unique experience for the whole family. You'd get to pick fresh strawberries right together with the farmers. You can bring it home or consume while on vacation in the Summer Capital of the Philippines. Ang tanong, bibili ba kami para ipampasalubong o sa daan palang makakain na namin to? hehe..mukang maraming masasarap eh!

Parang sa atin tong mga motor dito ah, kung maka asta at patalikod pa ang shots ha!

Btw, you are required to pay P10.00 for the entrance fee.
So, let's go at mag harvest ng fresh fruits and veggies!

According to the locals of Benguet harvesting Strawberries from January to March is alot better, especially every month of March due to town festivals. So, kaya pala kahit parang khit anung panahon (in summer) mas masarap umakyat ng Baguio not merely because of the weather but for these colorful and sweet strawberries!

Right there, spotted two young strawberries. I named them, straw and berry. lol!

Ayun!

Anyway, nice one ate!

Procedure:
You just have to pick what you want, have them weigh in and pay for it. Usually, the price is 2x higher compared if you buy in the market.  Simply because the tendency of some fruits will be ruined due to “amateurs” picking (strawberries are delicate fruits). Kaya there were few farmers who were teaching that time on how is the proper way of picking up of Strawberries.

Ano? ah, so you're asking if we bought for ourselves? e di hindi! hehehe, kurips nga diba. Honestly speaking, I am not fond of strawberry. I just wanted to feel the experience and I did enjoy really! But we really wanted to buy vegetables that time for pasalubong but since we are 2- days away from going back to Manila, we decided not to buy muna and instead buy to the nearest market once we're going back home so it will not spoil.

We were having fun sa Lettuce...And dami! Ang sarap mag salad!!

The farm is unmistakably large in size.  Quite muddy because farmers of course, maintain the freshness of their plants by continuous watering (not to mention, it rained). That's why we brought along our slippers. Good thing, that time it was not raining kahit mejo un nga maputik pa rin pero keri namin ang mag tsinelas.

Finally, napuntahan ko na talaga ang mga famous must-haves tourist spots dito sa Baguio at isa nga jan ang farm na ito. Nagpicturan lang kami dahil ang ganda ng lugar..Simply irresistible!

After such, we decided to have lunch in the city. But before that, we washed our feet at the nearby stores with a corresponding rest room fees.

So, where do you ever see as big as this Strawberry on our back huh?!

Ilalaban ko to sa Guinness Book. Hahaha..The biggest ever! Hay..oh, by the way, La Trinidad is the Holder of the GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORD for baking the Largest Strawberry Short Cake! Anu kaya lasa ng bake strawberry cake?!

Before leaving the farm, we caught our attention by the ice cream vendor right before the farm gate.  He was yelling like, "Ice cream, Strawberry flavor"! And then, we stared to each other and run to the vendor to try the said flavor.  Wala talaga kami pinalagpas!

Hmn, first bite..Strawberry na strawberry! Obvious ba?! In fairness, masarap.. Tamang -  tama, ang init eh!
