Bridesmaid, will soon to be BRIDE!?

Uy, I feel like sexy in here. hehe

The usual scene at the reception is the traditional throw of  bride's bouquet to all ladies at the venue. But in this case, I was astonished on how the organizer modernized the game. The game was easy, all the ladies in front must get one flower stem from the organizer (I forgot her name) and who's going to get the one with a small padlock (w/c is taped so it will not fall from the stem) will be announced the winner. The corresponding game for the guys on the other hand is to get the key from the balloons. So he will unlock the padlock from the girl. Obviously, I and my partner got it!

hmmn, Christian why, I don't like the way you look at me! I know what your thinking..

After getting the price from that game, I thought the game will ends when my partner kneeled down on me and wear the garter to my leg up to the way to whatever but no! There was this game that we need to do what the newly weds doin'. It started on kissing here and there. I am sweating, nerve cracking but had fun!

Yes, we did it in front of the audience.  I forgot also the name of the guy eh, but the good thing.... he's taken. *sigh and relieved* :)

Meet the "BRIDESMAID"

I've been dreaming to feel being a BRIDEMAID someday.

I've been wishing someday wearing a nice dress while walking/ marching down the aisle. That wish came true when my friend Mitch invited me to be her bridesmaid in her upcoming wedding. Being chosen to be a bridesmaid is an honor bestowed on me and I am proud to be the one who will accompany the bride all throughout the wedding. Although we are not best of friends, I'm so thankful.

On the wedding day, I fixed myself at the bride's house. I even acted as her makeup-artist. I assisted her dressing up with her beautiful white wedding gown! (ingget ako, hehe).

Being picked for bridesmaid duty meant I have made the top-tier of Mitch' friends and since this is my first time, I hardly got an idea of my duties.  All I know is I need to prepare a speech for the couple and have some comments to the best man's speech at the reception.  I know, I should be the one who will assist the bride all the time because choosing as bridesmaid most likely means you are the best friend, closest or sister of the bride. How generous of Mitch, she never asked or compelled me to be with her during preparations coz we both know, I cannot because of work, yeah sad to say. I just did assisted her on the big day! 

The whole experienced was such a FUN for me! Upon arrival at the church, I'm still trying my best to assist on her needs and I hope I did it so well.

3. and a little hair-do in salon. I did my own make up and I'm ready flauntingly while the couple says "I do"

Chris and Mitch Wedding

Before 2010 has ended, I fortunately attended a very great friend's wedding. 

The couple

Mitch and I were friends since high school and we're attending the same church since elementary. So since I've known this girl that far, I was surprised to know that she's getting married to the man that I met only once (first met, during the wedding of our highschool friend also). Initially, Christian was not my type for Mitch.  He's like chickboy though. hehe..

The next meeting with him was when the wedding is being prepared already. So I realized, I was wrong with the first impression. Christian is such a good man and very charming. He used to make jokes and so we laugh.

I was thankful because I wasn't only invited but asked to be bridesmaid.  Oh di ba, what can I ask for...

The wedding ceremony led by the pastor ng Lokal of Quiapo is simple and yet very solemn. Maybe I was so excited being a first- time Bridesmaid, when it was my turn to get the ring to the ring bearer, I was lost where to hand-over the groom's wedding ring which I supposedly give first to the bride then she will be the one to give it to the pastor, nevertheless I still able to make it. hoooh!
