Life is the sum of experiences that we encounter as go through life. Day to day to struggles and triumphs are experienced by all of the world's creatures. As human beings, when we encounter a challenge, we have freedom to choose how to react. Every decision that we make leads us down another road. We will never come to exactly the same crossroads. Every decision the we make has significance. The tiniest choice that is made reverberates throughout the entire universe.

c,")

So after almost 2 months of seeking the right job, I've found the right one for me (at least, I believed I did). I've gotten 5 interviews in this one company, finally I've started and survived my FIRST WEEK job! whew! Quite tough.

So first things first. When my new found job required me to join the tripping ( I can't remember the exact term eh), at first I was really hesitant due to some prior commitments.

But I believed that this trip will able to help me to get familiarize further about my current work. Aside from the fact that I can go to other places, I can also befriend with others....

A little information about my present work.
I am now on a Real State Business!
Deals with clients, agents and pre- selling.
A very competitive and very challenging work, and
Lastly, it's still in the heart of Makati... so welcome to myself! hehe.. self proclaimed ako.

So, the fieldtrip started with a few minutes tour at the Penthouse up to the rooftop of our office building. The sun was striking so hot at bumubula na ang kili- kili ko, pero go pa rin kasi nga required at kasi may cute na tour guide. Chos! harharhar..

We had a brief stop over at Mcdonalds for breakfast en route to itinerary.....in Makati, Taguig, Marikina, QC and Manila.

Here are some of our projects in different locations.

The Living Rooms

The Dining Rooms

The Bedrooms

I was happy that I joined.
Aside from the bonding with new friends, I've been too excited to step out of the service van and took each trip with gusto.  I was happy because I was able to meet new good friends, some are from other departments and there were some from other floor.

Meet Diane, Zyra and Cathryn, sitting all pretty in one of our projects in Marikina's (bedroom).

I met such awesome people this past weekend which makes me look even more forward to more bonding! Like the year -end party, ground breaking, co. outing and et cera. :)

Also a miniature of one of our projects in Marikina

Our office building.

View from the rooftop

Miniature from outside of our building

Verdict: (wow, kokoment pa ko ha). The projects we cater are all perfectly glamored with designs and class albeit some were sort of a limited space, I wondered why.

Yakimix: Lunch Buffet at Trinoma

Who doesn't love and crave for an Eat - All - You - Can or buffet style restaurant? Aside from you'll get your plate so full, you are entitle pa to eat in no hassle time (in less than 4 hours) with all - out scrumptious different cuisine...

Yakimix serves Japanese, Cantonese and Korean cuisine like Ricerolls - Maki, Sushi, Sashimi, Tempura, Prawns, Crabsticks, Tonkatsu, and alot of cold cuts. There are also Shrimps, Steaks, Mussels, Sausages, Pasta, Broccoli, Ham, choices of Rice, and alot alot of raw meats to grill, mouth watering desserts and viands! Grabe, I cannot name them all sa dami! All I want is to eat na and take a pictures of some..

my shy plate, hehe

First heard about Yakimix was last year from an officemate.  I've been wanting to try to eat here but every time I pass by, I cannot help but just "sigh". Aside from the intimidating look from the outside, the place is always been full blast of diners. Still there are many of customers who are patiently waiting for a couple of minutes/ hours just to experience dining here...

Finally, my bestfriend Jem invited/ treated me for a FREE lunch buffet. Luckily, we arrived early so we were only waited for about 30 mins.

Yakimix 4th level Trinoma

Yakimix has two buffet schedules you can choose from:
They serve lunch from 11:00 to 2:30 while dinner serves at 5:30 to 10:30.

It was Saturday so our lunch buffet costs P580 per head same price during holidays and dinner buffet. P499 for weekdays. Kids below 4 feet can eat for P380 and the leftover price is P699. Yep, kinda expensive, but I think it is reasonable due to usual price range of buffet nowadays like what we've tried in Dads.

yummy lunch, indeed!

Upon enterting the resto, the staff will greet you "irasshaimase" which simply means welcome.

We had our table near the entrance.
I love the ambiance. It is like eating in one hotel's finest restaurant. For almost 4hours of dining experience, hindi ka mauubusan ng kakainin at mapag- uusapan! hehe..

Smokeless Grill - we've got here Bacon, crab sticks, and diff meats.

I noticed another good point of this restaurant - the smokeless grill where you can cook your chosen raw meats in your own table.

So after getting so much foods, we hurriedly got back to our table to try the cooking!! FIRST TIME ko... :)

Thanks best for this abundant food trip/treat!

Happy grilling!

My first set of plate..I just cannot get enough of their maki too.

I am really fond of rice, so I make it a point to get some of it kahit mabigat sa tiyan. hehe..and I recommended it to my best friend to try their rice, poor me! I just forgot the name but believe me it was delicious. Nakadalawang ulit nga ko eh. harharhar. It was like a baked rice with seafood on top of it!

The interior design and hue of the restaurants makes it more unique and appealing to diners.  The table and couches/ chairs are very comfortable and suitable for a long hours of sitting. The ambiance was really cozy and perfect place for family and friends bonding, not to mention for a romantic date!

elegant Chandelier

Jem has always been fit and sexy kahit naka ilang balik siya to savor her favorites. I cannot imagine her getting bigger dahil sa kakakain. hehehe... Ang gana niyang kumain.. Well, I cannot blame her kasi naman the cuisines are all just like men, tempting and deliciously flavorful! hahaha..  Burp! Ayun, busog!

Actually, the staff told us that they prohibit taking an up close pictures of the food. I thought they're just kidding pero hindi pala. Kaya nga I still managed to take some of the distant shots of some dishes.

The smokeless grill, my and Jem's plate.

Sweets time

Our drinks were refilled immediately. The cost of the drink all you can is Php 65.  You can also choose between lemonade, iced tea, water & softdrinks.

desserts

Lastly, the meal would not be complete if there is no desserts which gives another texture to our food while chewing it on our mouth. But I did not eat though.
I am not fond of sweets. Lam niyo naman iyon diba..Pero my best buddy do! Ang sarap niya kumain!

For their desserts, they have ice cream, tarts, fresh fruits, brownies, a slice of cake and m2m.

Thank you best for this wonderful and uber full experience.
Sa uulitin.. hehehe..miss you too.

Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center: A bygone park

As I mentioned in my recent post, I held my first photo walk in Wildlife in Quezon City. Why did I choose the place?

Thinking about my childhood, I can remember through pictures that our family visited the said park. Based on the kept pictures, there were a large playground, abundant rainforest, plenty of wild animals and alot of families who gathered here to have picnics in every corner of the park.

During my college years, again I visited the park, I was disappointed then that it changed.  It looked feeble and the feeling is not as much as excited as before.....

When I set up the photo walk with a friend, I still decided to do it in this park because first, my friend who happened to be my photographer has never gone to Wildlife. (kawawa noh, hehe!), second, I still believed that the park has a chance to redevelop their facilities and infrastructures and lastly, it is very cheap and very  close to nature! (not to mention malapit lang din sa house).

Ninoy Aquino's monument

Entrance fee for adults: P8.00 and P5.00 for students.

Entering the Ninoy Aquino Park and Wildlife Center (NAPWC), you can still noticed the big change happened in the park through the years. It can hardly maintained nowadays, I mumbled behind walking and picture taking.

Galing!

So pagpasok namin sa loob, we go directly at the right side of the park where you can see big cages for the different birds species and other animals,  meet some of them.

Blue and yellow Macaw, Blue and Gold Macaw

The Turtle pond

the Asian Box Turtles
The Philippine Brown Dear
At habang pinipicturan namin ang mga dearest deers, mantakin mong mag pupu!!! hahaha..nice one!

Changeable Hawk Eagle

We also saw the Aquatic House but we did not bother to look at because the area look abandoned already and I believed that it wasn't something that interests me and my friend so we opted to walk further until we reached our main concern, the lagoon. There were actually more animals roaming at the park (on its cages, of course). There were reptiles, more birds and land mammals but we preferred to have a little pictorial beside and along the lagoon.

the Lagoon

Our first location

As far as I know, this house is a headquarter or an office room because while having a photowalk, there was this one man, got inside and we heard voices inside pagpasok niya sa house na ito. Pero maganda noh. Yung style at may pagka nationalistic pa ang dating. I just like its old style...

Pati spiderweb kinuhanan, hehehe. Musta ka naman jan little spider?

A walkway surrounds by bamboo trees and grasses

Parang pag dumadaan ka dito, na pi -picture out ko na eto yung perfect wedding scene while riding at the calesa at habang sinasabuyan ka ng maraming bulaklak..Oh diba pang sinaluma talaga mga hilig ko noh. Mas maganda rin siguro ang lugar na to tuwing gabi...With proper lighting and a romantic music background, solve na!

The Ninoy Aquino Parks & Wildlife Center is a zoological and botanical garden located in Diliman, Quezon City. It was named after Benigno Aquino, Jr.

Bleachers used to be a place for any events

The park have a viewing deck also near the lagoon which used to be a restaurant before and a Tea House but for whatever reason, they were all closed and seemed never reopened again for public.

The park is picture of a mess of rundown buildings, alot of garbages and you can see dry leaves all over the places.

Pero hindi pa rin matatawaran ang parte ng Ninoy Aquino Park and Wildlife Nature Center because it serves as a rescue center for common and exotic wild animals.

So if you're looking for nature ambiance experience and you need to breathe a little fresh air, you can go to NAPWC, just to enjoy and unwind, despite everything that we witnessed. We just hope that anytime soon, maibalik sa dati ang kagandahan at kaayusan ng park na ito at hindi ito tumigil sa kanilang layunin to conserve the country's biological diversity through:
  • Establishment, management and development of the National Integrated Protected Areas System
  • Conservation of wildlife resources
  • Nature conservation information and education
